Pilot Documents
Reference: ACS PA.I.A.K1, FAR Part 61.102 - 61.117
The FAA requires these documents must be on you at all times when flying as Pilot in Command (PIC).
Must be presented to an FAA inspector if ever ramp checked.
They are:

Government issued photo ID

i.e. Drivers Licence, Military ID

Current FAA Medical

Pilot Certificate
Student Pilot's
Your Current FAA Medical card is also your Student Certificate.
Log Book
Your log book, does not need to be on you once you are a Private Pilot
