Red Horse Aviation was founded by David Smith.  He grew up around aviation and spending a lot of time in the outdoors, and enjoying activates such as: snow skiing, fishing, camping, etc. and going countless times to the ocean and travelling to many different and new places.  

 

In 2002, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force.  He has traveled the world numerous times while being in the Air Force. While serving his time in the military he received a Bachelors of Science degree from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Aviation and began flying lessons.

 

David got out of the Air Force in 2015, and became a skydiving pilot near Aspen, Colorado.  He then continued as a skydiving pilot outside of Las Vegas, Nevada.  A few months later he now works full time as an aircraft mechanic for the Department of the Navy.  He continues to enjoy flying airplanes as a licensed Commercial Pilot with a Multi-engine rating in and around Southern California.
