HELPFUL LINKS

The Aviation Weather Center provides accurate, real time weather information for the worlds airspace system.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) sets the regulations for all aviation in the United States, and is the one source of information.

Every pilot from a Private Pilot and up, is required to receive a medical exam from an aviation medical examiner (AME).

Pilots Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge (PHAK) provides basic knowledge to student pilot's, as well as pilots seeking advanced pilot certifications.

PHAK Book

Private Pilot Airman Certification Standard (ACS). Communicates the aeronautical knowledge, risk management, and flight proficiency standards.

ACS Book

Federal Aeronautical Manuel and Aeronautical Information Manual (FAR/AIM). The FAR is the rules govern by the FAA for aviation. AIM is the guide for flight information and ATC procedures.

FAR/AIM Book

The Knowledge Test Supplement book is used during your written test. It provides all of the figures need to answer test questions referring to a figure.
