DISCOVERY FLIGHT
San Diego
Welcome!
A Discovery Flight is a great way to start learning how to fly. Whether you're curious about flying small planes or thinking about becoming a pilot, Red Horse Aviation offers an exciting introduction. This flight gives you a chance to experience what it’s like to fly close up. You'll actually feel what pilots do every day. During the lesson, you'll learn how to control the plane and see how flying works. This hands-on experience helps you decide if flying is right for you, whether as a hobby or a future career.
How It Works
-
Schedule a discovery flight with us and fly in a Cessna 172, one of the safest general aircraft ever built and a great training aircraft.
-
Once airborne, you have the controls and perform basic maneuvers.
-
After your flight, your instructor will record your lesson in a logbook, which counts toward your license if you choose to pursue flight training.
-
Flights must be scheduled in advance.
