FLIGHT TRAINING
Returning to Flying?
Start with Rusty Pilot Refresher Training
Welcome to the Rusty Pilot Training!
Has it been a while since you’ve flown last? Are you one of many pilots where life has thrown you a curve ball, such as with a growing family, busier work schedule, a medical setback or even a long military deployment? We can help shack the rust off with our Rusty Pilot Flight training course, no check ride required.
What Sets Our Rusty Pilot Flight Training Apart From The Rest?
Returning to flying isn’t about starting over—it’s about rebuilding your skills, proficiency, and confidence from where you are today. Our personalized, detail-oriented refresher training focuses on the areas you actually need, from aircraft control and procedures to navigation, situational awareness, radio communication, and sound decision-making.
Rather than simply checking boxes for an FAA Flight Review, we revisit the fundamentals and often-overlooked skills that help make you a safer, more capable pilot. Training in Riverside and San Diego also provides valuable experience across Southern California’s diverse airspace, weather, terrain, airports, and ATC environments.
The goal isn’t simply to get current again—it’s to get comfortable, confident, and truly proficient in the cockpit again.

You'll rebuild your scan, your feel for the airplane, and your confidence at a pace that works for you.
Refresh Navigation and Cross-Country Flight Planning
Review navigation techniques, flight planning, and we will plan a short cross-country flight to regain your proficiency.
Complete Your FAA Flight Review When You're Ready
