CHART SUPPLEMENT

Chart Supplements cover all public/private airports, seaplane bases, heliports, and military bases in the United States, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, and Pacific Territories. They are designed to be used in conjunction with VFR Sectional Charts, High and Low Enroute (IFR) Charts and more.

The Supplements provide information that cannot be found on sectional charts, such as; airport hours of operation, types of fuel available, runway data, airport lighting, weather data, airspace, special notices, and operational procedures, etc.

Supplements should always be reviewed prior to any flight into an unfamiliar airport to better understand the airport environment.

Chart Supplements are published every 56 days.

You can download and print the Chart Supplements from the FAA website (link below), which will save time and money. Plus you don’t need to carry a thick book.
